The Inauguration ceremony of two new Nursing training labs

On December 28, two Nursing laboratories, donated by a Japanese partner, the Glome Management Group, with training equipment worth 600 million VND, were put into operation, after much preparatory work.

Mr. Kazuhisa Hashimoto, CEO of Glome; Mr. Nobushige Yagi, Mr. Hironori Okuno, Mr. Yutaka Ohno and Mr. Kurato Suganuma; Mr. Nguyen Tuan Anh, a Glome Vietnam representative; Distinguished Teacher Le Cong Co, DTU President, Associate Professor Nguyen Ngoc Minh, DTU Vice-Provost; Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong Hanh, Vice-Dean of Nursing, lecturers and students attended. 
 
Recently, several Japanese Health Science education and job programs have been implemented at DTU. The Nursing lab equipment donated by the Glome Management Group included one homecare room and one hospital room, with beds with Antidecubitus mattresses, a cabinet, a trolley, a Cole Mat C hyper (MSN1200) HCH-1, a bed table, Infusion pole MY-22258 and a Home-Diagnosis medical bag with consumables.

Mr. Kazuhisa Hashimoto said: “2020 will be remembered worldwide because of the COVID-19 pandemic. Nevertheless, we are still determined to provide DTU with the medical equipment in fulfillment of our agreement of 2019. We promise to maintain our close partnership and continue to provide further training at DTU in Nursing and the Japanese language in the future."
 
Glome and DTU then signed another agreement to provide extra Nursing training and for lecturers to come to DTU to implement a Japanese language program. In addition, Glome will grant 30 scholarships for the first students enrolling in the training program.
