DTU students resume school after prolonged COVID-19 break

On May 4, DTU students returned to school and resumed their studies after a long absence to prevent Covid-19 transmission. Students and teachers are now required have their temperatures checked at the entrance, wear face masks and wash hands regularly as preventative measures.

Vo Phuong Nhi, from K25 TPM1, said: “I had taken part in online lessons and testing to avoid interruptions in studies. I have been wearing a mask since my return to Danang from Gia Lai, my hometown, and frequently wash my and complete health and travel declarations. I was also very happy that my landlord agreed to reduce my rent during the break.”

Lecturer Pham Thi My Linh, from Hospitality & Tourism, said: “I missed my students so much. Hopefully, the outbreak will end soon so that our lives and university attendance will get back to normal.”
