On November 28, Duy Tan University commemorated its 25th anniversary. At the reception, the University received the Presidential First - Class Labor Order from Minister of Education and Training Phung Xuan Nha.
DTU receives the First Class Labor Order on its 25th anniversary
Danang People’s Committee Chairman, Mr. Le Trung Chinh, presented the Presidential Third Class Labor Order to DTU Provost Dr. Le Nguyen Bao for his contribution to education and training from 2014 to 2015 and from 2018 to 2019, to the development of socialism and security in Vietnam.
In his remarks at the event, Mr. Phung Xuan Nha praised the significant achievements that DTU has gained over 25 years. He stressed that, “The educational quality of a university is not only measured by national quality accreditation. Some famous international universities and ranking agencies also value DTU highly, which is equally important.”

In November 2019, DTU became the first private in Vietnam to join the list of the top 500 Asian Universities, according to QS World University Rankings.
To build on previous achievements, the DTU Board of Provosts agreed that the university must focus even more on high-quality international partnerships into the future, by copyrighting and sharing the latest educational technology. Previous successes include the co-founding the Passage to ASEAN (P2A), in June 2012, for “ASEAN Solidarity, Cooperation, Peace, Stability and Development”, broadening opportunities for students to access, work in and learn about other ASEAN cultures, restructuring all 1,800 majors to become more practically oriented, and by sending 450 lecturers to universities in the US and other countries to study the latest teaching methods.
The university team will continue to work closely together to achieve their common goal to recreate an institution which strictly complies with the objectives set by the university, a university environment where “Education is linked with research, built on a modern, humanitarian foundations”.
