Diverse majors with advanced curricula
DTU offers majors in Architecture, Interior Design, Civil and Industrial Engineering, Road and Bridge Construction, Construction Engineering Management, advanced CSU standard Civil and Industrial Engineering and Architecture.
Since 2010, Central Vietnam DTU students study the most advanced American courses through partnerships with California State University (CSU) Fullerton, one of the leading public universities of the US West Coast, and with Cal Poly at San Luis Obispo, the fifth leading American university in architecture. On graduation, they benefit significantly from their 19 to 21 Course Completion Certificates, with opportunities for excellent careers in key positions in local companies, possessing the following skills:
• An advanced knowledge of architecture and civil engineering.
• Strong English language proficiency.
• A solid foundation for starting their own business or any other job opportunity.

The CDIO model
DTU also use the CDIO teaching method in Architecture and Civil Engineering, which serves as a catalyst for inspiration and creativity, allowing students be more actively research specialized information, develop their soft skills, and work in practical situations to quickly refine their ideas.
Graduates need to find jobs immediately, so the Architecture and Civil Engineering faculties and the International School have made valuable contacts with local business over the years where students can do preparatory internships during their studies. From the start, the CDIO method promotes creativity and effective problem-solving skills. In addition, DTU students have won competitions in Vietnam and abroad, highlighting their achievements. These include:
• The 2014 Championship in the Asia–Pacific 14th IDEERS contest to “design earthquake-resistant buildings”, held in Taiwan.
• First prize in 2010 in the Loa Thanh completion, a first for Danang universities.
• From 2010 to 2018, 8 first, 7 second, 14 third and 7 consolation prizes at Architecture festivals.
• Fifty national Olympiad prizes in mathematics, physics, material strength, structural mechanics and soil mechanics.

Guaranteed careers on graduation
Almost 100% of DTU graduates of Architecture and Civil Engineering find jobs with good starting salaries. Many have been hired while still in their last year at university. After ten years most of them have achieved stability and high incomes in senior managerial positions or in their own companies.
In 2019 season, DTU continues to award preferential scholarships students of Architecture and Civil Engineering
- DTU Scholarships: 720 scholarships worth from one to five million dong each for applicants with a total High Graduation Exam three-subject score three to ten points higher than the admissions minimum.
- 700 Scholarships: from 500,000 to 2 million dong for applicants, including Architecture and Civil Engineering, with a high school transcript score of 22 or above.
- 39 Full scholarships: 100% of tuition fee, with total value of 3 billion dong, for applicants to the advanced and international CMU, PSU, CSU and PNU programs, with a total High School Graduation Exam three-subject score of 23 or above.
- A 15% reduction in first-year tuition fees for 50 applicants in Road & Bridge Construction, Construction Engineering Management, Architecture and Interior Design.
- Ten scholarships from California State University worth 10 million dong each for applicants to the advanced and international CSU program
- Ten scholarships from DTU worth 5 million dong each for CSU International-Standard Architecture programs
