DTU Startup Coffee Shop

For the first time, the DTU Startup Center has opened a startup coffee shop, with original design aimed at young people.

Startup Coffee, located on the ground floor of Epin Hotel at 733 Nguyen Tat Thanh street in Danang city, opened on March 4th. With its sea view, the coffee shop attracts many young people and families every night and on the weekend. At the Startup Coffee, many books about DTU and startup activities are shown so that everyone can learn and acquire more knowledge.

Startup Coffee is an ideal place for interns, especially for students majoring in Tourism and Business Administration. They can get experience in mixing drinks and serving customers and learn how to operate and promote a coffee shop. This is also a place for DTU students and lecturers to share experience.

Mr. Nguyen Tien Viet, Director of the DTU Startup Center, said: “We try to make Startup Coffee Shop a “lever” for DTU startup activities. Our center will regularly hold talk shows about startups and soft skills and meetings with business men, lecturers and alumni to broaden the startup movement across Danang.”

Located at Epin Hotel, the DTU Startup Center will organize many community and exchange activities for students. There is a discount for DTU students having a drink at Startup Coffee. Besides, clubs of DTU students can hold activities at Startup coffee for free (they only have to pay for their food and drinks). Guest can enjoy live acoustic music performed by members of the Acoustic Club and the DTU Center for Art and Sports every Wednesday night at Startup Coffee. Guests just have to pay for food and drinks and do not have to pay any additional fees.

A warm and commodious space, delicious and cheap drinks and good acoustic music are the feedback of guests after visiting Startup coffee shop. And you? Come here and let us know your feelings.
