On November 19th, the DTU Faculty of Nursing held a student nursing competition to commemorate Vietnam Teachers’ Day. Associate Professor Nguyen Ngoc Minh, DTU Vice-Provost; Dr. Nguyen Huynh Ngoc, Dean of the DTU Faculty of Nursing; Mr. Dinh Thanh Tung, Danang’s ESUHAI representative; officers from the Special Police Training Branch no. 3 and lecturers and students from the Faculty of Nursing attended.

Associate Professor Minh said: “This is an important event for DTU lecturers and students. Over the past years, DTU has improved the quality of education and made impressive achievements, thanks to the sustained efforts of our Nursing lecturers and staff.”
Officers of the Special Police Training Branch no. 3 performed on the flute, gave an Umbrella dance and the ESUHAI Company and Nursing lecturers also received much applause from the students. The faculty HCM Youth Union presented flowers to the faculty Board and lecturers.
Four teams took part in the three sections, Introduction, Talent and Rivalry. Each team was asked to be creative in describing DTU and their faculty. In the Rivalry section, each team showed imaginative images and sketches and was required to respond to questions appropriately and quickly. Team 1 won first prize with their rendition of White Angel.

Nguyen Thi Ngoc Mai, a first-year student, said: “This competition is an extracurricular activity planned to bring students, lecturers and staff together. With the dedicated support of our lecturers, will work hard to live up to the their expectations and those of our parents”
