Mr. Tran Quoc Tuan, a representative of the 2007 IT alumni, said: “This is a great opportunity for us to express our deep gratitude to all our dedicated DTU lecturers who helped us work hard to broaden our knowledge and improve our professional skills. We all now have steady jobs and are delighted to meet again at DTU today. On behalf of us all, I would like to thank DTU for providing us with the ideal educational environment on the road to our current careers.”

The IT alumni reminisced about the past and took photos to remind themselves of a memorable day. Many IT graduates who have already succeeded in their careers are willing to partner with DTU to talk to students at orientation and startup sessions about their experiences, and to help to raise funds for prospective IT scholarships.

Distinguished Teacher Le Cong Co, DTU President and Provost, said: “I am so happy to meet you all today. Ten years is long enough for you to reach your goals in your careers and personal lives.  Over the past ten years DTU has made impressive achievements in many fields. In 2017, we were the first private university in Vietnam to receive a Certificate of National Education Quality from the Center for Education Accreditation and DTU students also won awards at several national and international competitions. We are now considered a leading contributor in research and the only private university ranked in the top 20 universities with the most published ISI papers in 2016. I know that the relationship between DTU and all our alumni will be long-lasting. This will help us establish a broad network of DTU graduates to support DTU and future graduates everywhere.”
