Nguyen Ngoc Hoang Linh scored 24.1

Nguyen Ngoc Hoang Linh has seen many elderly people and small children whose lives have been narrowly saved by their doctors, and, since she was little, has cherished the dream of donning a white gown and curing patients. So she has been striving for high grades ever since she entered senior high school, scoring 24.1 in the 2017 High School Graduation Exam and chose DTU after thoroughly investigating the education programs, teaching methods and training infrastructure there.

“General Practitioner training at DTU is very different,” said Hoang Linh, “the university dedicates the first year to teaching only general and specialized English, which helps the students to retrieve practice and research documentation, before starting their six years of intensive training. I also noticed significant investment that has been made in the construction of a modern practice rooms and labs. I am confident that DTU’s partnerships with well-known Medicine and Pharmacy universities in the US, such as the University of Illinois at Chicago and the University of Pittsburgh, to improve the curriculum, will help me develop my capabilities and give me access to current international medical practices.”

With an impressive score of 25.45, Nguyen Thi Ngoc Mai decided, like Hoang Linh, to attend DTU to realize her ambition of becoming a nurse.

The shortage of nurses in the local community compelled Mai to sign up for Nursing, hoping to contribute her efforts to caring for the sick, children and lonely elderly. Her brother introduced her to DTU and she spent time online carefully researching the university. She was very interested in its study environment, with its high-quality curricula and international partnerships. “DTU is famous for its dynamism, extracurricular activities and special courses in soft skills and foreign languages,” Mai explained. “DTU regularly invites experienced nurses from Europe and Israel to teach, meanwhile offering opportunities for overseas studies, and training and career opportunities, through its agreement with SEIREI, Japan’s largest social welfare community. DTU goes all out to allow students to develop and hone their professional skills.”

Nguyen Truc Linh, with 23.3, will study for a Bachelor of Pharmacy degree

Nguyen Truc Linh chose the Bachelor of Pharmacy program to start her professional career, with the image of her mother in a white coat in her pharmacy, dedicated to selling medicine and giving patients guidance on how to use it. So, since she was young, in the back of her mind, she has also wanted to become a pharmacist and help her patients overcome threatening diseases.
