The P2A program was founded by Rangsit University in Thailand, in conjunction with Norton University in Cambodia, the National University of Laos, the Myanmar Computer Institute and Duy Tan University, in June 2012. It aims to broaden opportunities for ASEAN students to make new friends and exchanges and learn more about the cultures of other countries in the region.

DTU students eagerly showed the Rangsit delegation around Danang, visiting famous attractions, such as the Danang Museum, the Non Nuoc Pagoda, Pham Van Dong Beach, the Linh Ung Pagoda and scenic bridges. Sixteen Rangsit University students were then awarded with P2A participation certificates, and left with strong impressions of the Vietnamese culture and memories of new, long-lasting friendships.

Field trips with students from other universities in South East Asia allow DTU students to gain further experience about international culture and solidify cross-border relations.
