With the speed of Vietnam’s economic development and the broad integration of Vietnam with the world, foreign businesses with modern production lines are gradually coming to dominate the production of export goods. Domestic businesses face fierce competition and fall behind so they need to overhaul their technology and to automate production. In addition, Vietnamese agriculture also needs to mechanize planting and harvesting and to automate processing to be competitive with other countries. Furthermore, the Industrial Revolution 4.0, taking place all over the world, will even more increase the demand for high-tech workers, and particularly for those in Electrical Engineering and Mechatronics.

U.S. News 2017 ranks Purdue University among the 8 Best American Universities in Technological Engineering Education. In addition to conducting train-the-trainer courses and transferring academic curricula, lecturers of Purdue University will come to DTU to teach the students every semester.

Founded in 1946, Purdue University Northwest (PNW) is part of the internationally-respected Purdue University system. Offering nearly 70 undergraduate and 18 graduate programs of study between its two campuses - Westville and Calumet - Purdue University Northwest is the fifth largest public university in the state of Indiana. According to The Times of Northwest Indiana, Purdue University - Calumet campus was the best public university in Northwest Indiana, while Northwest Indiana Business Quartely ranked Purdue University - Calumet campus the < destination="" for="" international="" students="" in="" engineering="" technology="" training.="" located="" in="" the="" northwest="" in="" the="" city="" of="" hammond="" in="" indiana,="" purdue="" university="" -="" calumet="" campus="" has="" 10,000="" students="" with="" 800="" international="" students="" from="" 40="" countries="">
