On December 28th, the Danang People’s Committee presented awards to recognize the achievements of young scientists for their three outstanding inventions and the authorship of twenty-six papers in ISI-indexed journals.
DTU researchers receive Certificates of Merit from the Chairperson of Danang People’s Committee
DTU contributed twenty-two papers and co-authored another four, together with the Danang University of Education and the Danang University of Technology. In 2016 alone, the university had 214 international publications, with 205 in ISI-indexed journals, double the number in 2015, which had 105 papers, including 101 inISI-indexed journals.
Many DTU ISI indexed papers had high impact in the fields of Physics, Construction, Chemistry, the Environment and others, including an article entitled “DNA Redox Hydrogels: Improving Mediated Enzymatic Bioelectrocatalysis”, published in the ACS Catalysis, with an impact factor of 9.31.
Two other ISI indexed papers were also published, including “Novel Photo-Curable Polyurethane Resin for Stereolithography”, in RSC Advances and “Ground-Stage and Spectral Signatures of Cavity Excitation-Polarization Condensates”, in the Physical Review B,with impact factors of 3.84 and 3.73 respectively.
DTU is conducting 14 Nafosted research projects and others in collaboration with Vietnamese and foreign partners.
Associate Professor Nguyen Ngoc Hieu, said: “I am happy to receive this award from the Danang People’s Committee, which really encourages me to continue working on the development of science and technology sector in Danang. The number of DTU researchers honored on this occasion is evidence that the DTU strategy to invest in and grow a team of researchers to publish papers which contribute to our social development is paying off.”
