On November 16th, the Danang Department of Education and Training celebrated the 34th anniversary of Vietnamese Teacher’s Day and rewarded individuals and teams with outstanding contributions to local education. DTU was honored to receive another Emulation Banner of Excellence from the Ministry of Education and Training.
The award was highly-deserved, in view of DTU’s 22 years of dedication and service to national education. In the academic year 2015 - 2016, DTU reached the enrolment target set by MOET and achieved significant accomplishments in research and international publications, including 131 articles in ISI-indexed journals, 13 on Nafosted projects, 3 ministerial, 4 provincial and 1 municipal.

Provided with an ideal educational and research environment, DTU students have won several awards in national and international competitions. Ton That Binh is a member of the team that won the 2016 CDIO Academy Innovation competition in Finland; the 2016 National Microsoft Imagine Cup and came second in the 2016 East Asia Go-Green-In-The City Contest; third at the IDEERS Convention, held at the National Centre for Research on Earthquake Engineering in Taiwan in 2015; received first, second, third and consolation prizes in the Student Information Security contest and several prizes in the National Student Architecture Festival and the Mathematics, Physics and Informatics Olympiad.
In March 2016 DTU received a Second-Class Labor Medal for achievements in the year 2014 - 2015 and Distinguished Teacher Le Cong Co, DTU President and Provost, received the title “Hero of Labor”.
DTU receives the MOET Emulation Banner of Excellence
The Danang University of Architecture and the Phuong Dong College received Emulation Banners and the Danang Polytechnic and Duc Tri College received Certificates of Satisfaction from the city of Danang.
These achievements highlighted the clear-sighted leadership of the DTU Board of Provosts and the sustained efforts made by our talented faculty and students to ensure a bright and prosperous future for generations to come.
