The annual event aims to bridge research and development with production and business and promote the commercialization of research and the marketing of technology and other advanced equipment.

Duy Tan University displayed several practical, advanced products, such as a multifunctional, automatic Gauze Folding and Rolling Machine and the Electronic Queueing System, all developed by the DTU Center of Electricity and Electronics (CEE).

A variety of gauzes are used during the wound healing process, when absorbent sponges are used to reduce unnecessary moisture in the wound.

The machine can fold gauze to a thickness of 30 mm, 40 mm, 60 mm or 80 mm and display the length and number of swabs on a screen. Its capacity is equivalent to 160-200 sp/h at a length of 1,000 mm, or 120-150 sp/h at a length of 2,000 mm. The machine can fold non-woven gauze of 4, 4.5, 6 or 7.5 cm and multiple layers. The capacity of the machine is 5,000 sp/h, and the length and number of swabs are displayed on the screen. Two machines have been assigned to a medical device manufacturing company in Danang and are on sale through various marketing channels.

The DTU Center of Electricity and Electronics also presented the Electronic Queueing System,  the 2016 QMS-DANAWAY model, which can be expanded up to include 30 counter terminals, 10 outlets and several loudspeakers, connected to a server. The system has been handed over to the Danang Family Hospital and is also being developed at district hospitals in Thua Thien-Hue.
