On September 23rd, the DTU Faculty of Medicine held a welcoming ceremony for K22 Medical students. Representatives of the Danang Department of Education & Training, local hospitals, the DTU Board of Provosts, lecturers, staff and students of Medicine attended.
The demand for health workers is increasing rapidly worldwide and DTU has invested heavily in courses in Medicine, in order to graduate doctors, pharmacists and nurses to work in the Central Region.

Associate Professor Nguyen Ngoc Minh, DTU Vice-Provost, said: “Over the years, DTU has invested in building the most advanced Health study and research facilities and partnered with local hospitals and health centers for students to gain experience and clinical practice. These include the Family Hospital, the Danang C Hospital, the Danang General Hospital, the Obstetrics, Gynecology and Pediatrics Hospital, the 17th Military Zone Hospital and the 199th Hospital of the Ministry of Public Security.”
K21 Medical students present flowers to K22 students
DTU first offered a Bachelor’s degree in General Nursing in 2009 and added the Doctor of Medicine degree program in 2013. Admission began in 2015-2016 and DTU is already a leading center for Medical training and research.
