On September 26th, DTU held the 2016-2017 Academic Year Opening Ceremony to welcome four thousand and five hundred new students. At the event, DTU awarded a laptop and a full scholarship worth 800 million vnd to K22 Valedictorian Huynh Tan Dung, who scored 26.75/30 and enrolled in the On-Site Study-Abroad program, offered in collaboration with Upper Iowa University in the USA. The DTU Board of Provosts also granted scholarships to eighteen high-scoring new students.

This year, DTU offers three new majors, in Foreign Trade, Commerce and the Food Industry.

DTU is the first and largest private multi-disciplined university in the Central region. The following degrees are now offered: a PhD in two majors, a Master’s degree in four majors, a Bachelor’s degree in 21 majors and 43 subjects. DTU continues to partner with well-known universities in the US, the UK, Singapore and elsewhere to offer advanced academic, Study-Abroad and On-Site Study-Abroad programs.
