On September 26th, DTU held the 2016-2017 Academic Year Opening Ceremony to welcome five thousand new students.
DTU is the first and largest private multi-disciplined university in the Central region. The following degrees are now offered: a PhD in two majors, a Master’s degree in four majors, a Bachelor’s degree in 21 majors and 43 subjects, an Associate Bachelor’s degree in 16 majors, Linking programs in 16, a Second-Degree education program in 6, an eLearning program in 5 and a Vocational Associate program in 3.
Distinguished Teacher Le Cong Co awards a full scholarship to K22 Valedictorian Huynh Tan Dung
DTU awarded a Certificate of Merit, a laptop and a full scholarship worth 800 million vnd to K22 Valedictorian Huynh Tan Dung, who scored 26.75/30 and enrolled in the CMU Software Engineering Advanced program, in collaboration with Carnegie Mellon University in the USA. Eight other outstanding new students enrolled in the On-Site Study-Abroad program also received full and partial scholarships worth 480 million vnd and 240 million vnd each respectively.
Graduates will receive American accredited degrees conferred by Upper Iowa University. The DTU Board of Provosts also presented awards to twenty other high-scoring students who had previously won prizes in national and international competitions.
New Valedictorians in all programs receive Certificates of Merit
In the academic year 2015-2016, DTU developed 457 products and conducted 121 research projects. Students gained 62 and 4 awards in national and international competitions respectively. Collaboration with local businesses has increased and university enrollment is on target.
