The DTU Medicine, Pharmacology and Nursing Programs

According to recent health statistics, there is a serious shortage of professional health workers in Vietnam, because most educational institutes are unqualified to teach them. However, DTU is partnering with American universities to train qualified doctors, pharmacists and nurses, which is good for the future of the Vietnamese health sector.

Putting educational quality first

DTU first offered a Bachelor’s Degree program in General Nursing in 2009. After that, the university added two more programs in Health sciences, namely Pharmacology and Doctor of Medicine. Admission requirements for Health programs are high. In 2013-2014, the average K19 DTU Valedictorian scored 24.5/30 but in 2015-2016, the highest score in Pharmacology and Medicine was 27.5/30.
