DTU has collaborated with many universities and businesses in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, Banking and Hospitality services, to broaden opportunities for its students’ studies and careers. In a young and ever changing city, with a booming economy and growing tourism, the high-quality graduates are being welcomed by local companies. In line with this demand, DTU has streamlined the teaching of Economics and Management to close the gap between the educational and work environments, helping students to secure better jobs on graduation.

The Economics and Management major at DTU consists of a variety ofprograms. With over 3.000 students, Accounting has the highest number of students so far.More students are enrolling for Administration Management, Marketing, Corporate Finance, Banking andForeign Trade. Initially developed right at the establishment of the university, the Economics and Management majorhas benefited from new up-to-date, international curricula and teaching methods.

In 2013, DTU adopted PBL (Problem-Based Learning/Project-Based Learning), a new teaching methodology used in developed countries worldwide, in the fields of Economics and Administration, Health Sciences and Humanities & Social Sciences. A DTU education has now become student-centric and, as a result, the quality of education has significantly improved.
