On May 5th, the DTU Faculty of Information Technology and the KYODAI Company held a workshop to broaden career opportunities with Japanese IT Firms for DTU students. Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong Van, the HR Manager of KYODAI’s Danang branch, Ms. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Anh, the KYODAI Study-Abroad Department Manager, Mr. Truong Tien Vu, Dean of the DTU IT Faculty, DTU lecturers and students attended. Founded in 2013, KYODAI now has offices nationwide. Their activities include Japanese education, Vietnamese-Japanese human resource procurement and corporate support.

Ms. Van said: “I graduated from DTU with a degree in Corporate Finance, so this is where my dreams started taking shape. My four years of hard work at DTU provided me with a sound knowledge and skills. The DTU environment helped me develop my capabilities and passion, thanks in particular to the competitions that the university organized. In addition, DTU regularly arranges meetings with business experts in many fields, which helps students acquire practical knowledge and experience. We hope to contribute to bringing business closer to DTU students, to give them a broader perspective, and access to the Japanese labor market on graduation.”
DTU students meet with KYODAI
Ms. Anh introduced the K12+1 and IT Engineering program in collaboration with Japanese government. Students who participate in these programs will benefit from a 75% tuition loan, to study Japanese in Japan to enhance their career opportunities.
Nguyen Huu Huy Thanh, of K21 TPM4, said: “We learnt many special things, such as communication and interview skills and how to write a résumé. We hope the university will organize these types of meetings regularly, so that we can focus better on our studies and get a clearer picture of future job opportunities".
