Set on 5 hectares of landscaped tropical garden in an enviable beach location, Palm Garden Beach Resort and Spa in Hoi An offers a green environment with over 400 species of palm trees and plants right along a 220-meter stretch of the famous Cua Dai Beach in the UNESCO-recognized World Heritage Site of Hoi An Ancient City.
After touring around service area, DTU students attended a meeting with staff, chef and the managers of Palm Garden Resort to exchange experiences in hospitality industry.

Le Ngoc Dung of K19 PSUQTH3 said: “Participating in the tour is a really useful and interesting experience for us because we acquire a lot of practical experience from businesses. This useful knowledge helps us to understand our future jobs better, so as to have a better orientation in our studies. We can also practice many soft skills, such as presenting in front of an audience, conversation skills, team work skills, and so on.”
“Education linked with research on a modern humane foundation” is the educational philosophy which DTU has been upholding for many years. This is why the DTU Board of Provosts always gives students the best of opportunities to meet and exchange with experts in many fields, to understand their field better, and to grasp the hiring trends from businesses. This will help DTU students gather experience and rapidly adapt to the working environment after graduation.
