DTU Hosts the International Conference on Computing, Management and Telecommunications

More than fifty-five researchers and delegates from twenty-one countries worldwide attended the 2015 International Conference on Computing, Management and Telecommunications (ComManTel 2015), held at Duy Tan University.  

COMMANTEL is an annual international conference jointly held by the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), Newton Fund and the British Council. This is the third time COMMANTEL has been held at Duy Tan University. 

ComManTel 2015 was a forum for participants to exchang*e* ideas and present information on their latest research in Computing, Management and Telecommunications, including topics such as wireless communications, video image processing and transmission, cloud computing, robotics, biomedical electronics, computer and telecommunications networking and sensor networking. New projects are also underway. 

Fifty-eight out of one hundred papers from twenty-one countries, including Vietnam, the USA, Italy, France, the UK, Greece, Spain, China, Taiwan, Korea and others, were accepted. All will be published in the IEEE Journal. The three best ones received the Best Paper Award and one paper under the direct instruction of Dr. Ho Dac Binh of Duy Tan University won the Best Student Paper Award, which will be published in a special issue of IET under the topic “Green Computing and Communications”.

Duy Tan University contributed eight papers this year and two and seven in 2013 and 2014 respectively.
