From December 28th to 30th, the 2015 International Conference on Computing, Management and Telecommunications (ComManTel 2015) took place at DTU, which was attended by researchers, delegates and companies in Danang. ComManTel is held annually, when researchers meet and present their latest research in computing, IT management and telecommunications, giving Vietnamese researchers the chance to interact with their foreign counterparts.

Participants made presentations on topics such as wireless communications, video image processing and transmission, cloud computing, robotics, biomedical electronics, computer and telecommunications networking and sensor networking, with new projects underway. This was the third conference hosted by DTU in collaboration with the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), the Newton Fund and the British Council.
Mr. Pham Kim Son said: “In hosting the ComManTel three times, DTU has proved its strength in IT education, research and applications. The university has made a significant contribution in providing an excellent environment for students to develop their skills. IEEE ComManTel is a forum which draws a large number of scientists from leading IT institutions and Vietnamese lecturers are able to learn from the one hundred papers presented at the conference”
