On November 11th, DTU signed an agreement with the Certified Practising Accountants of Australia (CPA Australia). Mr. Adam Awty, CPA Australia's Chief Operating Officer, Mr. Lam Quang Tuan, Sales Manager, Dr. Vo Thanh Hai, DTU Vice-Provost, DTU lecturers and students attended.

Mr. Adam Awty said: “It’s an honor for us to partner with DTU, one of the largest universities in Danang. Obtaining a CPA license is the accounting profession’s highest qualification, a symbol of achievement and an assurance of quality. The license provides members with international recognition and the opportunity to continue specialized training and professional development. CPAs make significant contributions in their companies, who are always searching for CPAs to work for them. In partnership with DTU, we commit offering students the finest academic programs in order to contribute to the improvement of accounting proficiency in Vietnam, in order to meet the most stringent business requirements during this period of global integration.”
DTU students
Under the agreement, DTU and CPA Australia will collaborate in training students of Business Administration, Finance, Accounting and Auditing. They will jointly host seminars and conferences. CPA Australia will sponsor academic activities in Accounting and Finance and provide CPA programs and related information for those wishing to get licensed. Representatives of CPA Australia answered questions on the topic: “Being a CPA is a mark of high professional competence”. Founded in 1886, CPA Australia has become one of the world's largest accounting bodies, with a global membership of more than 150,000 in 120 countries, with 25,000 of those in senior managerial positions. By collaborating with CPA Australia, DTU is providing students with an excellent opportunity to acquire the most advanced knowledge and obtain a CPA license in preparation for their future careers.
