Great Job Opportunities for DTU Graduates

With 89% of students obtaining jobs within 6 months of graduation, large companies continue to recruit DTU graduates as the university proves its ability to educate new generations of well-rounded students for excellent jobs.

DTU signs partnership agreements with businesses 

DTU has succeeded because of its high quality of education and innovative development strategies. The average score of students enrolling in DTU has increased yearly, from 14.5 points in 2012, to 15.1 in 2013 and 15.8 in 2014. During the 2015 enrollment, a student with a score of 28.25 in her 2015 National Finals exam selected DU as her first choice of university.  
 
To meet the stringent demands of the current competitive job market, students choose to study at reputable universities to secure good jobs on graduation. Since its inception, with its slogan “We Do Everything for Student Rights and Future Careers”, DTU has made sustained progress in collaborating internationally to enhance the quality of education. Many big companies come to DTU to employ qualified graduates.

 DTU students work on internships at local businesses
 
In several areas, DTU has partnered with well-known universities worldwide to share international standard curricula. DTU has collaborated with Carnegie Mellon University (CMU), one of the top four American universities in Information Technology, with the exchange of courses in Software Engineering, Information Systems and Network Security. It has partnered with Pennsylvania State University, one of the five largest public universities in the US, to offer Business Management, Accounting, Finance and Banking and Tourism and Hospitality courses. DTU has also deployed the first advanced programs in Architecture and Construction in Central Vietnam, in conjunction with California State University Fullerton and Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, two of the leading universities on the West Coast. For its new Medicine and Pharmacy programs, DTU is working with two other American universities, the University of Illinois in Chicago and Pittsburgh University, as well as eighteen local hospitals.

In addition to its international partnerships, DTU has signed agreements with many businesses, locally and nationwide, to broaden internship and job opportunities for students. DTU students of Information Technology are highly regarded by companies such as Enclave, Work West, LogiGear America, Microsoft Vietnam and Gameloft. Students of Management Services are employed by local companies such as VPBank, the Vietnam AVN Auditing Limited Company, the Vietnam Association of Certified Public Accountants (VACPA), the Nam Hai Resort, the InterContinental Resort and others. Local construction and architectural companies offer DTU students internships.

With its dynamic study environment, DTU students have won awards in national and international competitions, including first prize in the National Informatics Olympiad, a first in the Loa Thanh Tournament in Construction and Architecture in 2011, a first in the Short Film Competition about Global Climate Change in 2011, the 2013 CDIO Cup at Harvard University and MIT, a first in the 2015 Computer Fireworks Competition, the Champions Cup at the 2014 Asia Pacific IDEERS Contest in 2014 and so on. 
Dr. Nguyen Huu Phu, DTU Vice-provost, said: “DTU holds an annual Jobs Fair and signs partnership agreements with businesses to create internship and job opportunities for DTU graduates. Currently, DTU has partnerships with more than 300 large businesses, which have guaranteed excellent jobs for DTU graduates in Danang and surrounding provinces. Some of them are already business owners, managers, technicians or hold high positions in government agencies.”
