On August 7th, the Vietnam Society of Solid Mechanics joined with DTU to hold the 12th National Conference on Solid Mechanics, which was attended by more than two hundred representatives from educational institutions nationwide.
The National Conference on Solid Mechanics opens in Danang
This has become an important academic forum for scientists to exchange information and experiences and learn more about the latest developments in Solid Mechanics.
Two hundred papers were presented in eight parallel sessions and eighty-two posters. After being presented at the conference, the papers were discussed and evaluated. The papers focused on solutions on current aspects in this specialized field, including current challenges in the Mechanics of Deformable Solids, the Mechanics of Composite Materials and Structures, Construction Dynamics, Optimization and Structural Reliability, new experimental and technological methods in Mechanics, education and training in Mechanics of Deformable Solids, solutions, applications, and relationships with industry.
Also, at the conference, the “Scientific exhibition” was held, showcasing researches done by scientists and lecturers in the field of Solid Mechanics throughout the country.
