On June 10th, DTU signed an agreement for the 2+2 study-abroad program with Purdue University Calumet, USA. Professor Keyuan Jiang, Dean of the Information Technology and Graphics faculty, Mr. Jaekeun Cho, Director of the Korean Southeast Asian Partnership and International Affairs at Purdue University, Dr. Le Nguyen Bao, DTU Vice-Provost, Deans and students attended.

Founded in 1946, Purdue University Calumet is an academically comprehensive regional university and part of the internationally respected Purdue University system. Purdue University Calumet is ranked as the best university in Northwest Indiana, according to The Times of Northwest Indiana, Shore Magazine’s 2015 Best of the Region survey, and the best university for obtaining a Technology degree, according to Northwest Indiana Business Quarterly in its Spring-Summer 2015 issue.
The university is located in Hammond, Indiana, just thirty minutes from the main Purdue campus in downtown Chicago. It has 9,500 students, including more than 800 international students from 40 countries. The university offers modern apartment-style housing.

Students who are interested in applying for admission to this program require a minimum IELTS score of 6.5. For those whose English is not proficient enough, Pursue University Calumet will be able to help them improve their English until they meet course requirements. DTU students will be able to study in the 2+2 program at Purdue University Calumet, with 2 years at DTU and 2 years at Purdue, in various degree programs, such as Accounting, Finance, Management Information Systems, Business Analytics, Marketing, Human Resource Management, Computer Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, Hospitality and Tourism Management, and then get a Bachelor’s degree conferred by Purdue University Calumet.
