This year, DTU Faculty of Humanities and Social Science has been approved by MOET to offer a new program on Economic Law Program, becoming the first private university in the Central Region to offer such a program.

Training a workforce of Economic Law experts has become more important than ever. Legal and economic expertise is vital in the day-to-day operation and sustained development of our country, bringing more opportunities for Vietnamese businesses to expand and prosper internationally.

DTU has started to design Economic Law program since 2009, in response to the growing demands for multidisciplinary experts to compete globally. DTU has improved the quality of its lecturers, and now includes one Associate Professor, two PhDs and ten with Master’s degrees. Most of them graduated from well-known universities in Vietnam and abroad. The department has access to ultra-modern facilities, including a documentation room, a multi-media lab, a simulation room for legal practice, the Center for Socio-Economic Research and the Center for Legal Consulting, to allow students to achieve the best results.

Dr. Tran Xuan Hiep, Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Science, said: “The three traditional programs, Literature and Journalism, International Relations, and the Culture of Tourism offer students with specialized knowledge to pursue careers in journalism, foreign affairs or hospitality. The Faculty has invested in developing highly-qualified lecturers and advanced materials, based on those from reputable universities in America, Singapore and Vietnam. The faculty has collaborated with tribunals, business enterprises and legal agencies to broaden internship and career opportunities for students. DTU also supports students of Economic Law with generous scholarships.”
