On August 30th, DTU and eSilicon Vietnam announced the new “Sunflower Mission” scholarship. Students were given details about the scholarship and the working environment at eSilicon Vietnam.
Ms. Tran Phuong Nga talks about the Sunflower Mission scholarship
Ms. Tran Phuong Nga, Personnel Director of eSilicon Danang, talked about the Sunflower Mission Engineering and Technology Scholarship for Excellence Program, which offers grants to undergraduate students in a circuit design engineering or software development related fields. The program aims to recognize outstanding students in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) and to recognize global citizenship. The program is managed by eSilicon Vietnam.
In 2014-2015, up to 60 scholarships of $300 each will be awarded and winners will be offered internships or conditional graduate employment at eSilicon Vietnam.

DTU students had an opportunity to exchange information, skills and experience with top engineers from the eSilicon Danang branch. Mai Thi Quynh Hoa, a DTU student in K17 EVT, said:
“We were delighted to learn about the Sunflower Mission Scholarship at this seminar. Also, we received extra information concerning our majors and now understand more about the requirements and characteristics of various types of jobs that we can prepare for in the future.”
DTU students will certainly take advantage of this opportunity to turn their dreams into reality.
