DTU Meets Journalists on the Occasion of Vietnam Press Day

On June 18th, on the 89th anniversary of Vietnam’s Revolutionary Press Day, DTU met journalists from agencies in Danang city and Central Vietnam, in order to thank them for their support over the past twenty years.

Dr. Vo Thanh Hai, DTU Vice-Provost said: “DTU thanks journalists and agencies for supporting us, publishing our news to the community and contributing to DTU’s overall development. We hope that journalists will continue to support DTU and offer us their excellent guidance.”
 
 
Mr. Tran Danh Lan addresses the meeting

In a warm and friendly atmosphere, journalists shared thoughts about their job and the joy of meeting old friends. Mr. Tran Danh Lan, Deputy Director of the Nhan Dan newspaper of the Central Region said: "Today is really a happy day for us. We are grateful to DTU for holding this meeting, so that we can meet old friends again and share old memories together. We are very happy to support DTU, a prestigious university, to provide news about education at DTU and their cooperative programs for studying abroad. They are offering students from the Central Region more opportunity to learn, improve the capabilities and secure good jobs in the future."

The meeting enhanced the relationship between DTU and the local press and was an opportunity for young journalists to learn from the experiences of older ones and enjoy their day together.
