Distinguished Teacher Le Cong Co awards merit certificates to outstanding graduates

Distinguished Teacher Le Cong Co, DTU President and Provost, said: “The development of DTU’s education quality to satisfy the demands of the local workforce has resulted from the passion and determination of the Board of Provosts and all DTU faculty and staff. Today, our students are graduating at a time when Vietnam is facing the challenge of defending our sovereignty. Together with all the academic community, DTU students should take on more responsibility for themselves to help the Fatherland. The Chinese have placed the oil drilling rig HD 981 near Vietnam’s islands and performed illegal acts against Vietnamese fishermen. However, we should not be confused by the motto of the 16 golden words, 4 good spirits and the friendship between Vietnam and China. Vietnam now has a population of more than 90 million. As a nation of able and intelligent people, we must broaden our knowledge of world affairs and be able to appeal for the support of other countries to obtain justice. Every new DTU graduate should strive to learn more about how they can develop their personal capabilities to contribute to the development of Vietnam and overcome potential enemies.”
