Ceremony for T16 Nursing Graduates

DTU held a graduation ceremony for T16 nursing students on October 20th. Attendees included Distinguished Teacher Le Cong Co, DTU President and Provost, Associate Professor Nguyen Ngoc Minh, DTU Vice-Provost, Dr. Vo Thanh Hai, DTU Vice-Provost, Ms. Nguyen Thi Quang Tri, Deputy Head of Medical services in the Department of Health and Chairwoman of the Danang Nurses Association, representatives of hospitals and medical centers in Danang, faculty heads, lecturers from the Faculty of Medicine and ninety-three T16 graduates.

At the event, Associate professor Nguyen Ngoc Minh congratulated T16 graduates on results. He also stressed that DTU transfer programs in general and especially in Nursing were a particularly practical and attractive solution to students who already had full-time day jobs. He said: “Students are awarded Bachelor’s degrees which are recognized nationwide. Your field of education is very broad one so you must continually learn more, and work ethically. You must all try your hardest to build a Vietnamese medical system and facilities where you can work to improve the standard of healthcare in our country. Then DTU will be proud of you!"
 
 Distinguished Teacher Le Cong Co presents Merit Degrees

T16 excellent students were presented with Merit Degrees by the DTU Board of Provosts. Studying at DTU is an important part of the lives of all students. Le Thi Kim Lien, a student of T16YDD said: “Students and employees sometimes experience learning difficulties. However, thanks to the inspiring teaching of our DTU lecturers, I have tried to complete the course. The study environment and modern facilities at DTU are excellent. In order to help us learn more and refine our skills, DTU has invited experienced instructors from big hospitals in Hue to teach us. DTU has made me more confident in my job.”

By improving the quality in nursing education, DTU is meeting the increasing demands of local hospitals and medical centers. DTU’s reputation will be steadily enhanced by its continuing contribution to the improvement of healthcare in the Central Region.
