On June 26th, the DTU e-Learning Center held an opening ceremony for the X19 e-Learning Course at the 182 Nguyen Van Linh campus. This DTU academic program allows students nationwide to study for their Bachelor degrees online, without going to class. Attendees included Associate Professor Le Duc Toan, DTU Vice-Provost, Mr. Le Van Chung, the DTU e-University Center Director, Mr. Duong Truong Quoc Khanh, the DTU e-University Center Vice-Director, together with DTU lecturers and forty-six participating students.

To help students understand more about e-Learning, Mr. Le Duc Toan provided them an overview of the program and emphasized its advantages to those who want to earn Bachelor degrees but don’t have enough time to attend classes. On behalf of the DTU Board of Provosts, Associate Professor Dr. Le Duc Toan handed out materials, including books and a student handbook.
Tran Xuan Hieu said: “I researched these kinds of academic programs thoroughly before I enrolled in the e-Learning course at DTU. I felt more comfortable after I heard about the quality and convenience of the program from senior students. I have intended to study Business Administration for a long time but couldn’t spare the time. I enrolled in this special DTU program so that I could learn about my favorite topic and do my job at the same time.”
Every year, the DTU e-learning programs train hundreds of students living in different parts of Vietnam in five different majors, namely: Accounting, Information Technology, Business Administration, Finance and Banking, and English. Since its inception, the e-Learning course is one of DTU’s foremost programs. It provides students with a practical education using highly efficient, innovative methods”.
