The Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology Offers to Partner with DTU

A delegation from the Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology (STUST), led by Associate Professor Jack Y.P Wang-Dean of the STUST Department of International Relations, visited DTU on March 4th. Dr. Le Nguyen Bao, DTU Vice- Provost and representatives from the DTU Departments of Tourism and International Collaboration gave them a warm welcome

“After surveying the potential of the three largest cities in Vietnam, Hanoi, Danang and Ho Chi Minh City, Danang and Duy Tan University met our requirements and we decided to explore a new academic partnership here”, said Professor Wang.
 
DTU meets the delegation from STUST

On behalf of DTU, Dr. Le Nguyen Bao thanked STUST for their offer. He also talked about DTU’s size, curricula and strategies for future development. He said that, although DTU has already collaborated with American universities in the fields of IT, Economics, Civil Engineering and Architecture, the university’s objective was still to establish even more partnerships worldwide.

Professor Wang said: “STUST is the top private technological university in Taiwan and offers a variety of curricula in Technology, Business, Humanities and Digital Design. STUST is associated with 79 other universities in other countries, including Japan, the USA, Canada, Switzerland, Croatia, China, Russia, Indonesia, Thailand.

The meeting ended on a happy note with hopes for new transfers of academic programs, faculty and students in the near future.
