Dr. Vo Thanh Hai, DTU Vice-Provost awards scholarships to 2012 valedictorians
Since its establishment, DTU has set its sights on educating a highly-qualified and ethical workforce. With its new policy of encouraging students to enroll in Literature and Journalism and International Relations programs in the DTU Department of Social Sciences and Humanities, DTU is offering a discount of 50% on the tuition fees over four years.
In addition to granting valuable scholarships to students, DTU has always invested to improve teaching quality and create an ideal study and work environment for all. Over the past 18 years, the university has enrolled over 46,000 students at the college, undergraduate and postgraduate levels, 10,000 students in junior high school and 900 in vocational programs. More than 30,000 DTU graduates, including Masters, Bachelors and Architects have contributed to the economic development, both regionally and nationally. High achievements in the Mathematics Olympiad, the Physics Olympiad, the Loa Thanh Prize, the Architecture Festival, ROBOCON, the Social Venture Plan Competition and so on have demonstrated the high teaching quality at DTU over the years. Hundreds of local and international companies, such as Enclave, Lac Viet, LogiGear, IBM, the Work West Company, the Nam Hai Resort, the Intercontinental Group, Hyatt, Gameloft, Sacombank and so on have collaborated with DTU to source employees. Recently, 89% of DTU graduates find jobs within 6 months of graduation, which is an impressive statistic. In particular, 100% of CMU students are employed by local IT companies and some of them are already in managerial positions.
