On February1st, the DTU Trade Union held a meeting to present gifts to twenty-three DTU faculty and staff with economic difficulties. Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Minh, DTU Vice-Provost, Mr. Phan Van Son, Head of the DTU Trade Union, and distinguished guests attended the meeting.

Mr. Phan Van Son, Head of DTU Trade Union said: “2012 was a very hard year for all of us. However, we have made great efforts to overcome our problems. Though there are still obstacles, the DTU Trade Union will contribute what they can to help you get over them. Today’s meeting is an opportunity to meet and provide you with encouragement in the New Year. On behalf of DTU, I wish you and your families’ health and prosperity in 2013”.
Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Minh, DTU Vice-Provost added: “I highly appreciate the DTU Trade Union for holding this meeting to demonstrate our support for our faculty and staff. On the occasion of the Lunar New Year, I hope that you will all enjoy a happy Tet holiday with your families”.
DTU Trade Union presents gifts to DTU faculty and staff
Everyone was presented gifts worth one million VND each before returning to their hometowns for Tet.
“I thank the DTU Trade Union for supporting us over the years. I hope that there will be more ways to alleviate the financial concerns of DTU faculty and staff in the New Year”, said Ms. Doan Thi Cam Van, a lecturer in the DTU Faculty of Marxism-Leninism.
