Ms. Le Thi Thu Ha, leader of DTU team, added: “DTU exceeded its achievements of previous years. The festival this year required teamwork skills, which gave us an advantage, as we learn this way in class. We were very energetic and set a good example to others. Established in 2006, the DTU Department of Architecture has gained good results in national Architecture Festivals.

At the beginning of 2011, DTU and CSU (Fullerton) officially agreed to cooperate in the fields of Engineering and Architecture. CSU Fullerton belongs to California State public university system, which is ranked in the top ten public universities in the western US in postgraduate programs by U.S News & World Report and listed as one of the top 33 regional universities.

The partnership with CSU Fullerton has enabled DTU students to refine their knowledge, employing modern American study techniques. As a result, DTU students have steadily improved their ability to win more prizes in national architecture competitions.

In 2010, Mr. Dang Xuan Nam, a student of the DTU Department of Architecture, succeeded in winning First Prize in the Loa Thanh competition. That was the first time that DTU or any other university in Danang had won this award.

With such high results in recent architecture competitions, DTU has become nationally recognized as one of the best universities to study Architecture.
