DTU Takes New Steps Into the Field of Scientific Research

On May 12, faculty members of the DTU Research Center for Science and Technology (RCST) and the DTU Natural Sciences Department met to discuss a report entitled “Some issues with the modular invariant theory and the homology theory of finite groups”, led by Dr. Vo Thanh Tung. The meeting was part of the ongoing campaign to encourage the expansion of scientific research at DTU.

According to Dr. Vo Thanh Tung, the seminar was aimed to attract faculty and staff interested in scientific research and to encourage them to become more involved in conducting research. Between March 24 to May 12, five seminars have been held by RCST, including topics such as “Smart radio & collaborative communication”,  “The PPE method for sensor location”, “A review of LPPS”, “Solutions to recycle waste, a DTU Innovation”, and “Some issues in the modular invariant theory and the homology theory of finite groups”.

Hopefully, scientific research at DTU will receive the increased support and involvement of the DTU faculty and staff to become one of our strengths.
