The 2012 Robocon Finals of Central Vietnam took place from April 2 to 4 at the Danang Polytechnic University, with 35 participants coming from 10 universities and colleges. The DTU team was honored to be one of six teams representing the Central area of Vietnam to move on to national finals in Ho Chi Minh City in May. The five other teams were CDN DL, CNTT 12, BK Spirit, BK Focus and BK Vision.

After the first two matches in round 1, the DTU Titan 1 and DTU Titan 2 teams both reached the final twelve. Unfortunately, the DTU Titan 2 team had to give up their dreams competing with the SQ H1 and BK Focus teams, leaving DTU Titan 1 as the last hope for DTU supporters. The strong-willed members of DTU Titan 1 did not disappoint the hopes of their fans. They respectively beat the BK TME and CDN QN teams, earning their ticket to the national finals.

This has been a most glorious victory for the DTU Robocon team. From 2009 to now DTU had never won. Now this year’s DTU Titan 1 team could be future champions because all the hard work they have put in so far.
