On the 18th of January, 2012, a year end review of the first semester was held in the presence of the DTU Board of Rectors, lecturers and staff.
Dr. Vo Thanh Hai, DTU Vice Rector, reported that, in the 1st semester, DTU had some remarkable achievements such as success in 2011 enrollment, new courses and programs, a higher percentage of graduates getting jobs (89.5%) and more new partnerships with local companies. In addition, about twenty faculties with Doctorate or Masters Degrees were teaching at DTU.

He emphasized: “This is DTU’s third year of introducing new administrative methods. The two emulation banners we won over the past two years can be considered as proof of our efforts. I hope that DTU achieve even more this academic year”.
In the second semester, DTU will continue to send lecturers to the USA for training. A new Tourism and Hospitality program based on American standards will be offered shortly.
Mr. Le Cong Co awards gifts to outstanding groups
Groups with outstanding achievements were awarded certificates of merit and gifts. Mr. Le Cong Co, DTU Chairman and Rector, said: “DTU’s goal is to build a university based on humanistic foundations. I hope that you devote yourselves with all your hearts to the education of new generations of graduates to develop our society”.
