On 16th December, 2011, DTU met with the Punjab Technical University (PTU) to discuss partnering in I/T studies.
Established in 1997, PTU planned to establish centers of excellence in emerging technologies. PTU has partnered with universities in northern Vietnam for six years now. DTU is the first university that PTU has partnered with in Central Vietnam, as it expands its Vietnamese partnerships.

Mr. Pavitra Mukherjee, the PTU Sr. Manager of International Education said: “PTU will support DTU in providing facilities, teaching methodologies, training courses and so on. We hope that this collaboration in I/T will bring more opportunities for students interested in technology”.
In addition to DTU’s partnerships with leading universities in the USA, this new Indian collaboration with PTU will enhance DTU’s reputation even further. “All for Students’ Rights” will be the motto for a permanent relationship between the two universities.
