FDTU members held an event on 23rd October, 2011 for K17 students to get to know each other. This was also a good opportunity for freshmen to find out about the DTU Forum and DTU Facebook at the beginning of their first year.

After opening the event with a brief introduction on FDTU and DTU’s Facebook, Hyo Bin, the FDTU Administrator reported: “The DTU Forum was first established in 2009 and our membership has grown steadily. Today there are 50,000 members and over 93,000 posts. This is a place for DTU students and lecturers to exchange information about their study experiences. You can easily find your favorite chat room that best matches your abilities and interests”.
K17 students eagerly participate in the welcoming meeting
The event featured delightful musical and dance performances by the FDTU administration and current members. Exciting activities, such as “Fast Text Messaging”, “Chasing Pics, Catching Words”, “The Miming Game”, and so on made everyone feel happier and closer to each other. Administrator Anh2bmw said: “We hope this event will help new students make new friends and become active members of our Forum. Le Anh Vu, a K17 student, shared his feeling by saying: “This was such an incredible experience. I have never met such friendly students and forum members before so I’m registering to become an FDTU member immediately”.
