The Competition

This time, the I/T Gala comprised six teams. The contest was divided into four rounds, with prizes offered to winners and spectators. Initially, in the I/T Gala version 2.0, the audience was fascinated by the colorful uniforms of the participants. In the first round, they viewed creative performances on the topic of daily life and study.

In the second round, each team had to answer specialized I/T related questions. Guessing the awkward paintings and actions from the other teams was done In round 3 the teams had to guess what other teams were miming and the final round tested the students’ historical, literary, musical, sports and cinema knowledge. The teams could wager points by choosing to answer questions in their expert fields. Whilst acquiring fresh information on their personal specialties, the participants enjoyed the excitement when scores suddenly rose or plummeted, according to their responses.

The Winner

After three hours of stiff competition with strong encouragement from the audience, the WiKi Net team won the first prize, the Chicken I/T team came second and the Shock Value, Microchips, PLZ and AIO teams all drew for third place.

This proved to be a very useful student activity, enhancing their self-study and communicative skills and their general knowledge.
