In recent years, DTU has become a solid partner with many international and national organizations to give students opportunities for scholarships, internships jobs. On November 13th 2010, representatives from the National University of Singapore (NUS) held a conference at DTU to discuss scholarships and financial assistance programs for students and lecturers.

Mr. Tran Huu Tien, the NUS representative in Vietnam, provided details about the NUS study environment, the curriculum, Singapore culture. He stressed the broad education requirements needed to apply for scholarships for entry into NUS advanced, cross-faculty and double-degree programs. Successful NUS students at NUS will later have the chance to study and do internships at NUS international campuses in the U.S, China, Sweden and India.
Considering the achievements of DTU over the past 16 years, Mr. Tien stated: "I have been to many universities in Vietnam and, despite its relative youth, Duy Tan University excels, with its modern facilities, qualified leaders and dynamic lecturers. Hopefully with the continued efforts of everyone, Duy Tan will become one of the leading universities both in Vietnam and Asia in the near future. I hope that many DTU students and lecturers will be awarded NUS scholarships."
There are now 600 Vietnamese students attending NUS and many of them come from the central provinces, including Danang, Hue, Quang Nam.
NUS was established in 1905 and is one of the three largest multi-disciplinary public universities in Singapore. For many years NUS has been ranked by The Times Magazine in the UK as one of the world’s top 50 educational institutions.
