On October 1st 2009, Duy Tan University held the opening ceremony of its second-degree training program for the academic years 2009-2011.
Attendees included Dr. Le Duc Toan, Vice Rector, lecturers from the Departments of Business Administration, Accounting, and Tourism and new students of the course.
So far the university has enrolled one thousand second-degree students in six fields of study including Business Accounting, Auditing & Accounting, Business Finance, Banking, Business Administration and Tourism & Hospitality. The program is offered for those who already have one Bachelors Degree and want to study for a second one. After completing the two year course, students will be awarded a full time degree which will be equally as valuable as their first.
At the ceremony, the educational regulations and policies were explained to students by Mr Ho Van Nhan, the Director of the Centre for Continuing Education & Distance Learning, who congratulated the new students and pledged to offer them the best conditions for them to study most conveniently and effectively.
The second degree training program of DTU has prospered since it was first established in 2005. The university has so far enrolled students into five courses, three of which have already have graduates, providing highly-qualified human resources for the Central Vietnam.
