On the invitation of President Le Cong Co, on the afternoon of August 20th, 2005, Dr. Le Viet Khuyen, the Deputy Director of the University Level Education Department, Ministry of Education & Training, gave a talk on credit-based teaching to DTU’s Board of Governors, faculty, staff and teachers.
Credit-based teaching methods have been established in universities worldwide. This effects significantly teaching methods in Vietnam. During the talk, Dr. Le Viet Khuyen exchanged ideas with the participants on issues related to the training towards credit systems, credit-based teaching, including new student grading methods and changes teaching practices.
At the end of his talk, President Co expressed his gratitude to Dr. Le Viet Khuyen for spending his valuable time at DTU to present these issues. It is hoped that he will return to DTU in the near future.
