With the aim to offer ACCA (the Association of Chartered Certificated Accountants) qualification to DTU’s learners who is seeking a rewarding career in accoutancy, finance and management, in the afternoon of April 17th, 2008 Duy Tan University has cooperated with ACCA Vietnam holding a seminar named: “teaching method of CAT, an excellent route to the ACCA Qualification” delivered by Mr Rhys Johnson, Head of Education and Development ASEAN and Australasia.
Mr Johnson is from ACCA Headquarter and working in Singapore for years and he has wealth knowledge of teaching CAT programme. During the seminar, Mr Rhys presented skills to teach CAT syllabus. Main contents covered the issues such as: tutors, courses structures and content, delivery and materials.
Besides, he also introduced valuable knowledge of active teaching-learning method.
“The right tutors teaching the right course in the right way using the right materials in the right environment”, Mr Rhys said.
