An Agreement with the Heisei Corporation

On December 20, DTU signed an MoU on establishing the "HEISEI-VJIET Skillslab" architectural project with the Heisei Corporation from Japan. Mr. Nishihara Kanto, Director of the Heisei Corporation; Mr. Nguyen Huu Quy, Director of MTV Quy Khanh Consulting & Training Company; Architect Le Vinh An, Director of the DTU Vietnam-Japan Institute of Technology; and lecturers of Architecture attended.

Director Nishihara Kanto said: “This agreement between DTU and Heisei Corporation will broaden the professional knowledge and skills of DTU Architecture students, who will be given priority for recruitment at the Heisei Corporation and Japanese partners on graduation.”

The signing
 
DTU and Heisei Vietnam will jointly conduct the following activities: 
 
- The DTU Faculty of Architecture will recommend eligible students to participate in the "HEISEI-VJIET Skillslab" project and undergo architectural training
- The Vietnam Japan Institute will coordinate with Heisei to provide specialized Japanese language training and career orientation 
- Heisei will send experts to DTU to conduct skills training classes and career orientation seminars
 
During internships coordinated by the DTU Vietnam-Japan Institute of Technology, students will be able to use specialized design software, practice their professional skills and become familiar with the latest, most advanced architectural and construction technology in Japan. 
 
The "HEISEI-VJIET Skillslab" project will allow students to create digital products (BIM) and promote those designed at DTU in the marketplace.
