On November 24, DTU held an awards ceremony for winners of the “Quang Region Gen Z” competition. Dr. Vo Thanh Hai, DTU Vice-Provost; MSc. Dang Ngoc Trung, Director of the DTU Admission Center and Deputy-Head of the Organizing Committee; teachers and Gen Z students from Danang high schools attended.
The “Quang Region Gen Z” competition was jointly organized by the Tuoi Tre newspaper, the Danang Department of Education & Training and DTU. Contestants came from 22 local high schools and 3 CCEs and 25 teams were drawn up and divided into 8 groups for the semi-finals, with a first prize of 12 million VND, 8 million for a second and 5 million for a third.
Dr. Vo Thanh Hai said: “On behalf of the organizers of the “Quang Region Gen Z” competition, I would like to thank the teacher and student participants. Organizational shortcomings were inevitable, but will add to our experience in future events. We were pleasantly surprised by your past and present knowledge of the historical, economic, cultural and traditional values of Danang-Quang Nam region, and by your enthusiasm and talent. Hopefully, you will leave with fond memories of today”
