On September 27th, DTU hosted a meeting to discuss improvements in establishing partnerships with the local business community.

Dr. Luu Hong Hai, Deputy Chairperson of the DTU Business Relationship Committee, gave a brief report about the work of the DTU Business Relationship Committee over the last three months and its plans for 2014-2015. Representatives of large, local companies praised the DTU plan to develop new business partnerships to enhance the quality of education at DTU.
The signing of the agreement between DTU and the PMC Company
During the meeting, DTU signed partnership agreements with the ASPT Construction Company (ASPT) and the Property and Management Company (PMC). Under the agreements, the ASPT and PMC companies will provide internships and recruitment for DTU students. Duy Tan University will arrange for ASPT and PMC to organize seminars, training courses and research projects.
“Currently, several DTU graduates are working for ASPT. We are happy with their qualifications and skills. Thanks go to DTU for providing us and the local labor market with some highly-qualified graduates. We will help with the design of advanced academic programs and provide internships and career opportunities for students.” said Mr. Le Viet Thanh, Director of ASPT.
At the event, the Nam Hai Resort awarded thirty scholarships, worth two million vnd each, to new DTU Hospitality and Tourism students, help them overcome their financial difficulties.
