Mr Nguyen Van Thach speaking at the ceremony

“On behalf of Hoa Sen Group, I highly appreciate the training quality at DTU and its dynamic and creative student body,” Mr Nguyen Van Thach, Deputy General Director of Hoa Sen Home in charge of Internal Affairs, said at the ceremony. “Besides opening the door for cooperation between the two partners, today’s ceremony also creates favorable conditions for students in their studies and their search for jobs. We believe that, if business and education go hand in hand, this will help students enhance their skills and practical knowledge to meet the increasing demands of the labor market. This partnership will also allow us to find potential candidates to fill our vacancies.”

This agreement marks an important step in strengthening the relationship of the university with the business world; it opens development opportunities for DTU students and it enhances the ability to meet the demand for high-quality labor. The agreement stipulates that the two partners will collaborate on the following key activities: DTU will create conditions for Hoa Sen Group to promote its brand, put forward suitable candidates for recruitment, support Hoa Sen Group with teaching and market research, and organize seminars, recruitment events, and experience-sharing programs. Hoa Sen Group from their side will prioritize hiring DTU students for full-time, part-time, and internship positions, participate in career counseling and skill training for students, provide scholarships to outstanding students, and sponsor major events of the university.

Immediately after the ceremony, Hoa Sen introduced DTU students to two special programs: the “Store Manager” reserve-manager program and internships:

?    The “Store Manager” reserve-manager program seeks to identify and recruit students with excellent academic performance and good moral character for training and development into future management personnel. The program consists of four stages: apprenticeship and probation, hands-on work, training and appointment as store manager, and training and appointment as provincial director.

?    The internship program targets students with a clear business orientation. During the two-month program, students acquire and practice business and sales knowledge, and master the workflow, professional conduct, and corporate culture. Students who excel in their internships stand a chance to become official employees of Hoa Sen Group.
